Webmail any better folks now that we've done this..?

Still seems to be relatively slow here...

13 seconds to the login screen.
85 seconds from clicking 'Login' to a usable screen. (second attempt 75 seconds)
Similar times for betawebmail.

betawebmail still very slow, experience for me now as others have just stated.

Everything was fine for me this morning but 56 seconds to log in just now.

betawebmail loaded for 1st time today, then when I brought 1st message up to view
Database error, Connection failed!! Contact service administrator, ......so for me, unable to read emails, no progress here in dull cheshire

I am also having trouble with e mail still.  It's taking ages to log in, when I do manage I can't delete e mails, and also can't send any.  I've tried twice! So, I thought I would drop a post in to say it's not back to normal yet.

As you've guessed the last bout of maintenance hasn't helped. We're about to make a second pass...

The emergency maintenance performed earlier this afternoon was not successful so we're carrying out further maintenance in a bid to restore service.

Yes, if you use our Webmail platform. We need to take the service offline completely for up to fifteen minutes whilst the work is carried out.
Is there anything else I need to know?
No.

The maintenance is complete and things look a lot snappier for me now (although to be fair they did initially last time). How's everybody else finding it?

Thanks for the feedback.
It's looking like it's probably a hardware fault affecting one of the Webmail servers. Things should be back up now but there's still some work to be done behind the scenes to fix the underlying issue. Fortunately, little of that work should be intrusive.
Apologies again for the extended period of time things have been down for.

Superb like grease lightening here now,
Excellent well done to all who have worked on this problem!
Hope it continues to flourish  
And thanks to the person who has added the drop down destination bar for emails!............somebody has actually listened

Beta webmail now back to normal for me - thanks to all at Plusnet for resolving this, if not quickly, with at least a constant supply of information as to what was happening; more I'm sure than we would get with a lot of other providers.
