Member centre offer - going round in circles!

Hi,

I noticed an offer for an existing customer (my pensioner mother) in the member centre.

It would be a saving of approx £6 per month for an new 18 month contract.

I discussed it with my mother and we decided to take the offer...

After logging into the member centre, I clicked on the "renew your contract" box/link and the line details were checked etc.

Then a  "start your order" box/link was present.  a

Started the order then the browser was re-directed to https://www.plus.net/campaigns/error/ with a "Sign into member centre" box/link.

Pressing the "Sign into member centre" lands back at the member centre and already logged in!

The process can be repeated ad infinitum  🙄

I have tried two PCs each with two different browsers (Chromium and Firefox).

Could a PN Staff Member please investigate / advise?

I can supply my mothers username by PM  if required.

Regards

Richard

Fix

Hi @RichardB I’m sorry for the issues you’re having with renewing the contract online.

We’ve logged an issue with this internally (ref: IMT-5464) on Saturday and we’re investigating. We should know more next week.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

@Gandalf

Is this a time limited offer … which might have expired by the time the issue is fixed?

Can @RichardB obtain the same offer (or may be a better one) by phoning COTS (the I am thinking of leaving option)?

Re: Member centre offer - going round in circles!

I’d imagine it’s a limited time offer but I couldn’t say for sure. If the offer has expired before the problem is fixed then we’d be happy to honour it one way or another.

Best to phone customer options on 0800 013 2632 quoting the online renewal offer or we’d be happy to arrange a call back explaining the situation beforehand if it’s easier.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
