A little advice for me please...I dont do much downloading, uploading, and send the occasional email, my usage is more just surfing, is my usage going up whenever I have the internet on, apologies if a bit 'green' I am purely a plug & play girl!!

Only by a minuscule amount - don't bother - probably only about 150kB per day if you left it on all the time and didn't use it - that is 4.5MB per month or 0.0045GB out of your 10GB limit

Hi there and welcome to the forums! Glad to hear your activation went smoothly
Your usage will increase when the connection's idle but it should only ever be by a negligible amount. If you're using wireless then make sure you've got your network secured and you shouldn't have to much to worry about. Remember that you can check your usage to date at any point using our website.
Edit: Jm beat me to it!
