OK, have done that and it created ticket 27480642 ... and the CSC staff replying to the ticket are not aware of this new information you have and so reckon I can not take this offer.

I was speaking to the person looking at your account just now and she didn't mention anything of the sort to me.  Weird.

I'm confused...  Can anyone explain what is going on?
Thanks

Can you PM me your username?  You community account links to a dialup service.
I suspect your discount is being added today.

SW - Yours should be picked up shortly enough.
I've just reasserted the home phone annual contract + broadband only annual contract thing around the CSC to avoid further confusion.

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

From this morning my Opt 1/10gb package (as on offer) should kick in.
E Mail from cust support today says:
"This email is to confirm that your account change has completed.
Your new account type: PlusNet Broadband Your Way Option 1 (Monthly Contract) with included 2GB bandwidth"

which is a previous package ?? Broadband usage chart shows 4GB which is package I recently subscribed to, as I was getting too near my 2GB limit; assumed that should now show 10GB.
What's up with your Admin, Plus Net!

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

Do we lose fax-2-email on this package? As I have been expecting a fax I just sent a test one and as I did not receive a notification went and checked in my member centre and found that the fax-2-email icon has disappeared. Know that it was working on the 19th November when on BBYW2. So did I lose this when I switched to BBYW1 offer?

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

Hi Gel,
I'm sorry about this.
I've just been playing with your account and you're now on the 10GB service and you'll see the discount in price from your next billing date.

Raised a ticket and got the facility back but don't know whether I lost any faxes. Not clear on the PN portal which products should have the Fax-2-email service.

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

IIRC the fax-2-email service is not now offered to new customers. I think the way the automated regrade script works is that it removes the fax-2-email component (and, in some cases, the static IP component) and applies the defaults for the new account type. (Just supposition here but I think it's on the right lines!)
However, if you've got it on an account and wish to keep it when you regrade I think you need to specify that on the ticket that gets created on your account when you request the regrade (if that makes sense!).

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

James, thanks for reply. Roll_eyes
On Sunday I had another e mail saying I am on new service, confirming wrongly it had 2gb monthly allowance; assume system generated, and system not updated
about new offer!

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

It seems everything I see on the portal indicates I am on the standard BBYW1/2GB account  ...  e.g. https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=view_details&s=0 but I assume this will be all OK at the time of billing!

Hey Folks.
What do you see on this page https://portal.plus.net/my.html?s=0&action=account_summary ?
For me it is clear I am on BBYW1/10GB ... hope it is for you too.
