New TV ad - PN customers are UK rednecks are we?

The new one with the Dad on a lawn mower driving down a street, are you labeling all PN customers as UK rednecks?  Can't help but be reminded of various youtube video's with rednecks as the basis for this ad

I certainly don't think that when I see it and I'm yorkshire born and bred! If you look at some of the comments on our YouTube channel then you should find that the new ads have been pretty well received. They certainly could have been a lot worse!

Exactly.
And i dont mean to be 'harsh' but current users opinions of the ads is irrelevant, PN isnt trying to 'get' your business, they already have it. Your not going to leave just because you dont agree with their advertising!!
If the advert sticks in your head (annoying, or in a good way) then its done its job.

I don't know whether the same agency is used (anyone know?), but ISTM that PN's ads are a lot better than BT's.
