:)Signed up to plusnet at the begining of last week and received a text to say would be on their service by midnight of the 23rd ( today ).at about 1700 -1800 yesterday my internet connection with orange ceased ,after trying to connect with my netgear 2200 router and still no luck in reconnecting i unpacked the plusnet router and powered it up .as it said in the booklet after about 5-10 minutes i found that i had broadband and connected to plusnet :).Still waiting for a text or email ( as promised )from plusnet to say that i was live with them, just hope you carry on with nice surprises in the future

Glad to hear things are up and running smoothly.
I noticed another new customer mention that recently, I'll look into it although I suspect you might not receive one. Mind if I ask where you saw that you would receive such a notification?

:)i was told when joining plusnet over the phone and also on the packageing of the router.
