New finance system (are you sitting down?)

Apparently it might actually be coming soon:

I agree this facility needs to be updated so we can change direct debit dates and the inflexibility is just not good enough.
I called them today and the update as it's going to be a couple more months before direct debit dates  can be changed and only when their new finance system comes into place.
No use for now. Plusnet, please sort out this basic but important issue.

PN are using 'two months' to mean around 60 days.  Unfortunately their calendar is based on Venusian days Wink

But it is definitely happening. The agent confirmed it yesterday when I had to phone to complain that despite negotiating a new 2 year deal for 80/20 my first bill went UP instead of down. The process of providing me with a refund sounded more painful than the Chinese water torture!  Roll_eyes

When Npower  and Vodafone "improved" their billing systems there were issues giving rise to a huge number of complaints. Here's hoping Plusnet has done a better job of testing than they did.

Well, it's not as though they've rushed it.

I thought a PN day was 8 hours and only M-F, so 60 PN days is around 129 Earth days. (add an extra Earth day for each bank holiday that falls between now and the end)
