Re: Order Mess Up

There was nothing agreed because when I placed the order I didn't see in my crystal  ball that pn would not deliver my service. I was also not expecting money to be taken for a service that has not yet been supplied.
On another not my ticket went off hold Friday but still no update on my order.

Hi louialive,
I can see on ticket 87985764 that we were awaiting a response from yourself, the latest on this is that there is a fibre appointment booked in for the 26th August between 1pm-6pm. Is the OK for you?

Re: Order Mess Up

So took another day off work.
At 14:30 had feeling something wasn't right so phoned PN for re assurance my waiting wouldn't be in vain, spoke to someone who put me on hold then said he would ring me back, twenty minutes later he rang me back and surprise surprise apparently BTOR decided to cancel the appointment.
Guy I spoke to was supposed to ring me back again after speaking to supervisor but not heard back yet.
I guess PN will look to take money from my bank account in September like they did in August  charging me for ADSL and FTTC

Re: Order Mess Up

OMG!  Yet another BTOR / ordering system cock-up.
Tactical solutions are required guys.  This poor individual really has gone through the mill.  Can Andy Barker not pull some strings with his mates in BTw and BTOR and get this one fixed pronto?  Special escalation is needed now.

Re: Order Mess Up

Just an update, had message that there would be an update on 18th September but no FTTC, then another one saying update 15th October. This is just for BT to put in jumper links between fibre cabinet in the street and the copper cabinet next to it  Shocked

Re: Order Mess Up

Sorry to hear this louialive Sad
I've let my colleague who is personally monitoring your account know of your updated post on here and they have advised that they will be checking for further updates after 15/11/2014. Creating more capacity in a cab for FTTC is a complex task, you may find some information on here useful: http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/faq/
You can also check the date yourself here: http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome If the date changes at any point please update Ticket: 90661212 and my colleague will pick that up with you.

Re: Order Mess Up

But the delay in capacity according to what I have been told is jumper cables between the FTTC cab and the copper cab which are right next to each other.
It would take 2 minutes to run a jumper cable down through the conduit between the two
I have in the past 2 weeks carried out 2 dummy orders on the Plus Net site for my postcode and neighbours home address and each time Plus Net is offering me FTTC as an option. Why can FTTC be ordered if it is not available to install.
I am currently paying over the top for my standard broadband so loosing out here also.
I just checked the link above and it is saying FTTC available to order
