My other half has been having trouble with noise on the line this last week, I eventually got her to ring In after some thorough testing, She rang In last night and an open reach engineer Is now on the premises today and has heard the noise for himself thankfully.
Edit, Well It seems open reach have fixed her line for her, Wasn't sure If It was water at first at the socket or what not, But cut a long story short I am happy to report at this moment In time every thing's running OK for her, She just has to wait for her BB to pick back up now.
As I said Outstanding service from Plusnet ( Makes me wana come back and I might do once my current contract expires)
