What is happening? Phoone lines to call PN are awful quality currently. Why is this? CS rep i spoke to confirmed there was a problem at PN end.

Hi Steevo.
We're not actually aware of any current problems with the phone system although you may notice we had some problems causing some calls to be dropped which was closed yesterday: http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1411635838.htm
What was the problem exactly? i.e was there noise on the line/was the call quiet etc.
I'll try and find a recording of your call to see if I can spot any issues.

Were these calls on Steevo's land line - the one which trashes the DSL session on inbound calls?
Could that be impacting call quality?

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

You have a very good memory Townman!!
But no, for fear of creating more problems I'm steering away from using the landline as much as possible so made the call from the mobile.
