Pointless use of flash on support webpages

Any update on the rationale of using flash to display simple text from your allegedly "experienced and professional" web development team? It appears to be the total opposite of adhering to standards, and common sense.
Experienced = have been doing what they've been doing for a long time
Professional = they are paid money to do it, it's their job

I couldnt care less about apple devices, but I do think its stupid to use flash when its not required, now days web dev's seem to have no care for security and bloat of their websites.  Using flash to display text is borderline insanity.

also another page that has been neglected, with images still unavailable, therefore is there any rational need / requirement for all the unavailable images ?
