Re: Poll: Are you satisfied with the PlusNet Service ?

These polls usually come out highly in favour of a satisfied customer base......much to the disappointment of the very tiny minority who aren't. Wink

Re: Poll: Are you satisfied with the PlusNet Service ?

I've voted "Broadband YES" and "Broadband NO" since there wasn't an option to say fairly satisfied...

Re: Poll: Are you satisfied with the PlusNet Service ?

Why did you remove my comment regarding voting for both since I'm only fairly satisfied. What's the problem in that? Are you going to remove my votes too?
I am happy with the service but not with the speed or the inability to understand what I can do about it.

Re: Poll: Are you satisfied with the PlusNet Service ?

phone service = spot on
broadband = functions, below average speeds but it seems a solid stable connection.
my votes reflect this, i hope you use the results of this pole constructively.

Maximum percentages per poll appear to be 50%, not 100%, if you vote twice.
Recommended, as it otherwise slews the graph.

As I don't use PlusNet phone service I couldn't vote on that,  just broadband.
I fear asking two different questions in the same poll might lead to odd-looking results.

It's my first Poll, still learning, be gentle !
I think you have to ignore the graphs as a group of 4, and see them as two groups of 2.
Broadband only, or Phone only, relative horizontal bar lengths.
We're not comparing Broadband with Phone. ( Apples & Oranges.)

Re: Poll: Are you satisfied with the PlusNet Service ?

Broadband Service YES 33 (56.9%)
Broadband Service NO 4 (6.9%)
Phone Service YES 20 (34.5%)
Phone Service NO 1 (1.7%)

If I am correct that the phone service is not available without broadband, then the satis/disatisfaction percentages are misleading .
In fact  to date 89.2% users of the broadband service are satisfied, and 95.2% users of the phone service.
Could the poll be remodelled perhaps? Undecided Smiley
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Re: Poll: Are you satisfied with the PlusNet Service ?

A user may be satisfied with their Phone service, and less satisfied with their Broadband service, or vice versa, whether they are bundled or not ?
The stats you quote will be useful after a period of time, being number of Satisfied users divided by total users of each respective Broadband or Phone service, of those that respond. (33/37 & 20/21 in the example shown above)
Best to ignore the (misleading) percentages created by the poll, and stick to actual number of votes.
But correct so far.

I'll calculate the actual satisfaction ratios on a frequent basis.

Which do people prefer, Pie Chart or Doughnut ?
(Or maybe even just a Pie, a Doughnut, and a mug of strong Yorkshire Tea ?)

Moderators Note.
.....removed a series of posts within this thread which were bordering on both trolling and personal attacks.

So they were not actually trolling or personal attacks, but removed.

How is querying if those who benefit from referrals are more likely to hang round this forum and therfore vote, in anyway trolling or a personal attack?

Did you see the offending posts ?
You needed to see them to appreciate just why they were removed.

See them? I wrote one that was removed!!!  Cheesy
I don't appreciate a pefectly legit opinion being deleted because it was not on message and was neither trolling or a personal attack.
I'll let you get back to your poll.
