PlusNet, and other similar companies, raising prices by more than inflation are making inflation worse. If every company annually increased prices by more than inflation we’d soon have inflation spiralling out of control. Madness.
How can it be even legal to have a contract where the supplier can increase the price by an unknown amount each year (it is not known until the CPI price figure is released) and the consumer has no option to leave?
I do hope Ofcom stops this nonsense. They knew this would happen but have waited until it’s too late to stop it. Another useless regulator.
