It would be nice if there was an API (WS/REST) to allow querying of a users quota usage this would allow for small simple desktop apps to be written which monitored a users usage. An example of a small app that does this for another ISP in australia:

I think there was a blog post (or maybe somethign in an EOD) ages ago that Plusnet were working on an API to get to various parts of their data, though I can't find the original, and I don't think it's been mentioned since.
