Re: Referral discount calculation changed yet again!

I still don't understand mine Cry
My bill notification and referrals emails came through this morning advising I am to receive £1.00 as referral discount, yet when I click on the link provided in that email and log in it shows 75p for my Plusnet Unlimited referral and 50p for my Plusnet Value referral.
Conflicting information here, hence my confusion.

I've got two 'PlusNet Value' referrals in my list, both showing with token values of £0.50 -  one of them pays out at £0.50 while the other only pays £0.25  Huh

Have they both been billed since the fix was put live?

Re: Referral discount calculation changed yet again!

It looks like it is another problem in all honesty.
Value before 2010 only pays 25p, although looking at the referral history it looks like in the past Value before 2010 used to pay 50p and still displays 50p but pays at the correct (?) 25p. (http://www.plus.net/support/tools/referrals/referrals_archive.shtml)
I'll get a problem raised for it  to be investigated.

The fix has been done, tested and is being rolled live as I type. Just a heads up, don't panic if you are billed this month and the referrals are still missing.

Therefore I believe both accounts have been billed since the fix (if it actually was 'live' on the 9th).
The one that actually pays out £0.50 was billed on the 15th.
The one that only pays out £0.25 was billed on the 11th.

Edit: added the bit in brackets to clarify.

Just a heads up that my referral for 75p is showing active but just received notification of this months bill and it hasn't been paid  Sad

Was that referred person billed before or after the date the fix 'went live' (which I believe was on or around 9 Jan 2014)?

Re: Referral discount calculation changed yet again!

Also can you confirm that they had paid their bill on time?

@Jelv
They pay by DD and I believe their billing date is mid month.

Re: Referral discount calculation changed yet again!

Ok so at last all my referals seem to have paid out properly this month for the first time ever, so when can we expect the back payments from the past year that havent been paid.

We were checking the dataset for the clean up today.  It's been difficult to get correct as it's quite complicated.

Re: Referral discount calculation changed yet again!

Mines still in a heck of a mess and I cant figure out whats going on yet.
But what are these

Username Account type Activation Date Billing Date Last Token Value Total Tokens Total Credit Status
userX Talk Evenings & Weekends 21/12/2013 16/03/2014 N/A 0.5 0 0 active
userX PlusNet Residential Generic Services Product 09/06/2009 16/03/2014 N/A 0 active
userY Talk Evenings & Weekends 07/01/2014 26/01/2014 N/A 0.5 0 0 active
userY PlusNet Residential Generic Services Product 23/04/2009 26/01/2014 N/A 0 0 0 active
userZ PlusNet Residential Generic Services Product 07/08/2008 21/02/2014 N/A 0 active
userZ Talk Anytime 21/10/2011 21/02/2014 N/A 0.5 0 0 active

It would seem that they are active accounts, but Im not getting tokens for either the phone nor broadband.
Is it co-incidence they are all classified as " Residential Generic Services Product"
I do have another "Residential Generic",  Im not getting the broadband but I am getting the phone aspect

User A Talk Anytime 14/04/2011 28/02/2014 29/10/2013 0.5 29 14.5 active
User A PlusNet Residential Generic Services Product 15/04/2008 28/02/2014 N/A 0 active

Re: Referral discount calculation changed yet again!

Cheers kelly...  so youre saying they have some sort of non broadband internet connection, yet are with Plusnet for their phone?
Just seemed a bit strange as they all used to have broadband with Plusnet..  and I didnt know that PN sold phone as a standalone.

---
edited to add
I thought people who didnt have broadband and moved their dsl elsewhere showed as Pay as you Go
For example

USER B PlusNet Pay as you Go 22/05/2009 10/03/2014 N/A 0 0 0 active
USER B Talk Anytime International 300 09/02/2010 10/03/2014 N/A 0.5 0 0 active

See on that how that person has PAYG and phone..  and are being billed..  yet Ive never received a single penny for anything.

PPS
....  and also if thats the case, and even if they do no longer have dsl,  why dont I get anything for the phone if they are still paying it to you?

Re: Referral discount calculation changed yet again!

I'll get someone to look.  We don't sell phone only, but there are some accounts we have which have ended up that way.
