Routers & Openreach.

Why do PN simply not send openreach a number of routers so when the engineer arrives he will have the router with him, thus avoiding the problem of a visit but no router available.

PN must have some rough idea of the number of routers required for any given time, should also save on postage costs.

We are born into history and history is born into us.

Re: Routers & Openreach.

Most installs no longer require an engineer visit so this wouldn't achieve anything.

Re: Routers & Openreach.

Also, the engineers work for over 500 communication providers.  Would you expect them to carry 500 different variations of the routers?
