I noticed doing tracert to the IP address before I hopped timed out at hop 9 and after, I don't suppose there is any significance in that, just that the IP address is still in the pool? -

That just means the router (which comes after the far end gateway) isn't set to respond to pings.

We're looking into the gateway checker not working. The IRC channel should now be fixed though.

When I tried 3 or 4 minutes ago, I got the attached - after 2m 42s of just "....connecting" "waiting for usertools.plus.net........."
