Re: Six days and no response to ticket

Hi Bruce47,
Sorry for the delayed reply I've been away from work due to ill health, I'll get marketing to pick this up as a matter of urgency.

Re: Six days and no response to ticket

Copy of the letter sent today
Quote
I am writing with reference to ticket numbers 38865521 and 40190318.
In October and November 2010, Plusnet ran a marketing incentive offering a number of Marks & Spencer vouchers for each referral made during the promotional period.  In this time, I made four referrals to Plusnet.  Two of these subscribed to Value, two to Extra.  I was therefore due £100 in vouchers.  I claimed these as required and was told they would be dispatched in time for Christmas.
On 15th January 2011, I received £20 of vouchers.  After submitting a ticket and posting on your community forum, a further £20 was dispatched.  £60 of vouchers are still outstanding.
I have attempted to contact Plusnet on a number of occasions, including on the forum, where Adam Walker was looking into the matter.  However, to date, I have not received the final £60 instalment.
Having given ample opportunity for the contract to be fulfilled, I am now requesting that the final £60 of vouchers be delivered to my address within 7 days of receiving this letter.  Failing this, I will have no alternative but to seek legal redress through the courts.  The cost of this action plus interest (at the rate of 8%, as prescribed by section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984) will be added to my claim.
I have already kept to my word with regards to cancelling the account (moving home just provided the excellent time to do this by not taking Plusnet with me) and will keep to my word with regards to the legal action.

Re: Six days and no response to ticket

I am astonished that plusnet can let such a simple to resolve issue escalate to this point.

Re: Six days and no response to ticket

Bruce47,
Can I draw your attention to our response to ticket 40190318 please, this has been dealt with. I can only apologise for the delays that occurred.
I'm now in the midst of a post-mortem of this issue to see why this took so long and who's accountable.
Adam.
