I received a response in this ticket 53788175, where does that leave my current contract? I have to go buy my own router despite being inside my 12 month period.
Does this mean I can break from my contract at this time as your team is advising me to buy my own router since your Thomson's basically suck.

Hi there,
The router is on a separate contract to your broadband (which only requires a 10 day notice period anyway) and if you do opt to send the router back to us we'll remove the router contract from your account, which I believe should cover everything?
The reason we're suggesting you trying another router of a different make/model is because we've sent 4 different Thomsons out and each has had the same problem, so it's important to confirm if you've had 4 defective Thomsons sent or if it's being caused by something else. If the same issue happens with a different make and model then it's likely to be something else.
