Slow speeds last night anyone?

We noticed a lot of traffic on the network last night which we suspect was related to the IOS5 update. We're just wondering if anyone noticed a marked drop in connection speed or higher than usual latency?

I did notice my iOS5 download was going reaaallly slowly, but I guess that could be either Apple's CDN, rate limits PN end, VP congestion etc.
Fancy posting any traffic graphs from 6pm onwards?

SWMBO was moaning last night, could not keep up with a chat session and looking a a non PN forum hosted in the US was slow

Now that you mention it I did try to make a skype video call to my mother up in scotland last evening. It was shocking! I had better call quality last week piggybacking an open but weak wifi link on a beach in Greece...

I  was on Ancestry.co.uk which has a mixture of webpages and some largeish graphics files. Yes the graphics were very slow loading and some locked up and never loaded. It reminded me of dialup

Hi Adam,
My speeds are below 2Mbps; so difficult to notice if there was any dterioration of speed.

@adam yes but I have since Monday, might be related but slower by 500kb/s currently

As this thread relates specifically to a peak in usage 4 days ago and not to other problems I have locked it and moved a couple of posts out to a more suitable board
