Speed seems to get less and less

My speed gets less and less - i live in Chandlers Ford Hampshire and Bt has just installed fiba at our local exchange which is about 4 streets away from my house so why am i only getting the following?
Recent results from BT show the following: -
Download speedachieved during the test was - 1777 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 1200-4000 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :4544 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 440 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 4008 Kbps
Using Broadband Speed Test i get just 1.8mb download and 0.3mb upload!

Re: Speed seems to get less and less

Installing fibre in the exchange doesn't have any effect on current services. However your sync speed seems low for only 4 streets from your exchange.
Could you put your phone number into Kitz's adsl checker at http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/adslchecker.php and post details of the distance by road and BT Line Speed information?
Posting your router stats - click this link if you have a Plusnet supplied TG585 router - would also be helpful.
You current speed is low for the sync speed - what does Current line speed in the Member Centre say?

Was the speed test you posted run using a wired or wireless connection?

Re: Speed seems to get less and less

@flyerdave,
I've just run a diagnostic test that shows your sync rate at 4544kbps so I've started an SNR reset which should hopefully resolve that. This should start to take effect within a couple of hours and will start the line retraining, meaning that you should be back at full speed within 72 hours. Make sure you let me know if that's not the case.
