Re: The link to the Plusnet Fibre Forums is totally unhelpful

BT have it:
Parent Board - Broadband
ADSL/Copper Broadband Speed/Connection Issues
BT Infinity Speed/Connection Issues
Other Broadband Queries (This board is for everything else related to broadband in your home: Wireless connections, tech setup, PCs and other hardware)

I like the idea of having three forums including "other broadband queries"

I'll add my support for using sub forums to achieve the split.  They can be a real pain to manage if over used, but a great asset when used in moderation (no pun intended  Embarrassed )
Might be of value to add a board for FTTP to service the current trialists and answer the queries until the product is announced.

Two I can do it once the decision is made - and that will be almost immediately

How is the decision made? Does it take weeks or months?!

Plusnet staff decide as it is their Forum - and the time is as long as a piece of string  Roll_eyes

It's likely to be that "piece of string" phrase that I hate so much, unfortunately.
I have sent emails off to the necessary channels, and I will update this thread once I have a response  Smiley

Re: The link to the Plusnet Fibre Forums is totally unhelpful

It seems like the process/system for the decision to be made also needs updating as it's antiquated and stagnant. It should take a manager 1 minute to make a simple decision like this which will actually benefit the staff and users on these forums.
I also see that the link to the fibre forums is still incorrect - what kind of hurdles do you have to go through to get that changed? Weeks of testing? Legal's opinion?

A response to my emails would be a good start  Grin
I'll go and put a bit more pressure on the concerned people this afternoon.

Oh dear - looks like it's not only end users who have to endure the delayed responses....

Re: The link to the Plusnet Fibre Forums is totally unhelpful

You may have all already noticed, but the forums have now split. We're still working on getting the link changed.
