Hi there,
That sync speed is just on the edge of the 8000/9000 profile mark and if it stays you should see an uplift to 9000 if it stays stable - for the different profiles and sync rates required have a look at http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/speed_guide/broadband_terminology.shtml
I'd guess the reason you're not seeing the full 8000 in the speed test is down to the header information on each packet.
