I know where Sheffield is, and I'm officially a Northerner by most standards.
Still haven't had a call from them yet though.
That said, I'm recruiting ATM for a network assistant ATM, and have had a large amount of interest from Sheffield Hallam Uni undergraduates on related degrees.
They represent a real investment in all our futures, as well as being a rich seam of passion and intelligence - only a little experience needed to really enable them to excel.
I'd add these to a similar bracket as Jeremy's jobseekers - I'd still rather see somebody in this country employed rather than somebody overseas (and controversially perhaps, I don't really mind where the candidates hail from - if they are in the UK and have the right to work, they have the right to be considered in similar terms to any other candidate from the UK)
