Replaced old thomson TG585 v7 router with TP Link ADSL/fibre TD-W9970 - doubled speed, link now solid (was dropping every 8 to 10 minutes, needing several manual re-starts every week, 0.4 to 8Mbps, clear channel 6 as shown on free Wifi Analyser App on Android (recommended!) and free Pingplotter to show latency and drop-out issues.
Now stays over 13Mbps, no latency or dropout or re-start issues. Best £45 I have spend this year.
I will be staying with PlusNet.
Not ALL good though - 55 minute waits for helpdesk - needs sorting - but always excellent when I get through.
(DONT call using mobile though - that cost me over £50!!!)

Oops, well you used the wrong number then as Plusnet have a 0800 number that is free even on mobiles, regardless of operator.
