I got this in a recent email:
...
We're really sorry you're still waiting for your fault to be fixed. We just want to let you know that we're working on it and apologise for the inconvenience that has been caused.
As you've had this issue for more than 30 days, you have the option to cancel your services with us for free. We do hope you'll stay with us but if you decide to cancel you'll need to let us know by 5th July 2022 to avoid an early termination charge, if you're still within your minimum contract term
...
Does this mean if I don't cancel by 5th July, I am back on the hook for the early-termination-charge until the end of my contract?
If I took the offer to cancel now, then Plusnet are out of pocket
Wouldn't it be better for Plusnet to encourage me to just keep things running as they are to the end of the contract?
Maybe by just dropping the ETC rather than giving a month's use-it-or-lose?

Post 5th July you are right about the early termination fees - though if you still have an open fault they could be waived.
If it helped click the thumb
If it fixed it click 'This fixed my problem'
