7:30 this morning I had no phone and broadband ( was Sky ).
8:30 the BT chap arrived and installed my new faceplate and modem. 1 minute later I was connected !!
10:00 my phone was working again.
40meg down, 14meg up. The estimated speed was 61meg down, 20meg up so I'm hoping that will increase during the 10 day period ?
I have to say I'm very pleased with the whole process - excellent.

Looks like wireless is the killer. On a wired connection I'm getting 75 down and 17 up. I'm pleased with that !

Hi Bear,
Welcome to Plusnet and our community forums, I'd suggest changing your wireless channel and see if that helps.
Let me know how you go.

Hi Chris
I used SSIDer and there was only 1 other network on the same channel (1). But I moved to to a couple of channels with no one else and and it made no difference at all.
What I think I'm going to do is buy a couple of powerline adapters so I get full speed on my main desktop.
Thanks
Bear
