View order status for a router - why no dates?

When it says the hardware has been despatched, why doesn't it give the date?

Because it's more fun to have you ferret through closed tickets than provide the information up front?  Roll_eyes

You mean ferret through the closed tickets that they've totally hidden?

Re: View order status for a router - why no dates?

It's because it's sent via Royal Mail, First Class. we don't hold any control over the date/time the hardware gets delivered unfortunately.
Whether you could see closed tickets or not, it wouldn't make a difference for the reason mentioned above.

Re: View order status for a router - why no dates?

I didn't ask for the date delivered, I asked for the date it was despatched.
Looking at https://portal.plus.net/my.html?s=0&action=account_summary on my account it would be reasonable to assume that it was despatched 03/04/2015 as that is the only date shown against the router*. If it was sent first class - where is it?
Showing date it was actually despatched might reduce the number of calls you get in the days before installation is due asking where the router is!
Only by looking in the highly secret closed tickets do I find it was actually despatched on Tuesday this week.

At the time of posting, they are still available through the user portal.
1. Log in
2. Click the "Contac Us" link at the top of the page
3. Click the "Business" tab
4. Click "Customer Services" button
5. Click "Send a Message"
You'll then see the beloved Help Assistant pages.

Sounds like they slipped up there and didn't remove it from the Business section too.
Will only be a matter of time now Roll_eyes

Back on the other thread which has been quiet now for over 5 days (oh they've stopped feeding back so it must be OK now...?)...

So (in the form of feedback) my question to PlusNet is - "Are you planning to restrict the ticketing system to only Business users?"

I don't know. I'll ask the question.

Customers do receive a text confirming that it has been dispatched on the day provided that the order is provisioned properly.
