Orange are indeed sorted, I have credits on my account coming out of my ears. What I do need, however, is for PN and Orange to agree on the date that my contract ended/started so that I only get billed once. Whatever is agreed I will leave Orange with a large credit on my account.

I am impressed. I also will resist the temptation to ask if you have personal experience of the first use......... Wink

Does that include lessons on how to get BTOR to remove digits? Tongue
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Re: Was it a mistake to join Plusnet?

Hi there,
Right... you first connected to us on the 18th Jan, so the first order we placed *should* have notified Orange that you were moving away and that the MAC had been used. Having said that though that order was cancelled, I'm not sure how that affects the losing provider (if at all) but even if it does the second order which completed on Friday should have done the same.
Given that a different MAC was used for the order that completed on Friday, if you had to get that from Orange then I'd say Friday 15th would be your last date with Orange. We didn't inform them directly, but we have means of checking when a service was migrated away from ourselves and as this is tool is on our supplier's systems I'd find it very hard to believe that Orange weren't able to do the same.
Regarding the phone, not sure if you had that with Orange but that moved to us on the 1st February this year, and we have access to a similar tool for phone transfers as well, so the above applies there.
Hope that helps, I'll pop this same information on your ticket so it's recorded on your account as well.
