What's on the PN surprise list for tomorrow?

In the last week I have read on here, after finding out about the first two on other websites.
1. 40/20 changed to 40/2 at new package change
2. customer service hours changes
3. price hikes
4. can anyone guess.
Any other faithful PN users looking at alternative providers?

Perhaps tomorrow they'll actually formally announce all of the above changes rather than trying to sneak them in 'under the radar'

Absolutely I will be looking at alternative providers when my contract ends. At that point it will just be a case of comparing deals and seeing what Plusnet offers. If they can't give me a minimum of a 10 Mbps upload product (I can't get much more than 40 Mbps download), and if they haven't resolved the peak time congestion issues, then I will likely move to another supplier.

Tomorrow's announcement:
We are always striving to improve our award winning customer service, and as a result we have been looking at our online chat opening hours. After extensively analysing the times at which our customers use online chat, and how long they have to wait, we are revamping the online chat opening hours. This will allow us to have the majority of our staff working when customer demand is at its peak. From 13th July 2015 our Online chat will be open from 7.30pm to 7.35pm on alternate Thursdays.

Re: What's on the PN surprise list for tomorrow?

What is worrying is that having read these forums for quite a while, I am seeing a lot of users that were previously big advocates of Plusnet now are really voicing how unimpressed they now are (me included actually).
It takes some doing to switch off that many fans in a relatively short space of time.

Totally agree jafreer, and what is even more worrying is the total silence on these important subjects from Plusnet, who seem blissfully unaware of them. Huh

With the price rises isn't complaining moot? People will be free to migrate out.  Huh

They are the staff who deal with complaints so I suspect that since they drastically reduced the number of ticket types available at https://portal.plus.net/wizard/index.html there have been a lot more complaint tickets to deal with.
Prediction of next move: they remove the ability to raise complaints online.

Re: What's on the PN surprise list for tomorrow?

Origin look very much like 'old Plusnet' (I believe they have several good ex Plusnet staff).  Do note, though, I believe their 38Mb/s fibre is 2Mb/s up.

Sounds like someone cloned PlusNET's marketing messages...

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
