Windows 8 - no support for Plusnet Assist

Hi guys, I've just upgraded my laptop to Windows 8   & I realise that Plusnet Assist isn't supported. Any news on when it will be upgraded?

It was just a passing query. I upgraded my laptop to Windows 8 yesterday & noticed that it wasn't supported. I used the icon on my taskbar as a short cut to my account. I won't bother to look for an "Ap" for a while either!

It'd be best just to create your own shortcut to your account and put it on the Desktop or in the Quick Launch toolbar if you've activated it

I don't know how to do that,  I just keep it in my favourites.

Not Got windows 8 to try it but has anyone tried to see if it will work in compatability mode from the desktop ?

To setup a shortcut on your desktop :
1.  Right click anywhere on the desktop.
2.  Choose NEW then SHORTCUT.
3.  Input the web address you want into the "Type location of the item" box.  (e.g. https://portal.plus.net/view_my_broadband_usage/index.php)
4. Click Next.
5. Type in the name you want to call the shortcut.
6. Click done.
Finished, you should now have a shortcut on your desktop.
