Unfortunately I also had a similar experience to the OP, 3 no-shows by BT, and an engineer showed up on the 4th appointment, but only because he had finished his scheduled morning work, and rang in for another job. Had I not been relatively close to his last job, I could still be waiting.
Re speed, Ive only been connected for 20 hours, but after only reaching speeds of around 5mb using wireless, I wired it and now have speeds of around 32mb.
I'll look into the wireless problem, but apart from a billing issue, and a compensation query, I'm quite happy at the moment.....(hope thats not "famous last words"..) Embarrassed
