Snap! This was reported here several months ago by a number of members, including me. It is just another example of Plusnet's flaky systems.

I have exactly the same situation. I raised it some time ago on th forum but nothing of any use was posted.

I change my preferences and get acknowledgement and then change them back again a few days later, still the banner will not go.

I don't bother any more, just ignore it.
