Re: bunch of scammers

You would be charged for the replacement router if the original one was found not to be faulty when tested after return. Was that qualification not explained by the agent?

Re: bunch of scammers

johnd07. your problem seems to be that you came on here just having a winge without initially explaining what your problem actually was. Not just content with moaning about what seemed to be Plusnet's Ts&Cs having given us the impression you hadn't read or perhaps understood them properly, you then sling around some comments about forum members because we tried to explain what the Ts&Cs actually mean, but then you do eventually get round after 6 posts in this thread, to actually say you are having a problem with a modem/router.
You can also rest assured that when Plusnet do not get things right, there are plenty of us that will comment about that.
So I now waste some of my time having a look at some of your previous posts to get some idea of what's been going on.
It seems you have (had) a speed issue which is related to an apparently faulty modem/router. You've had help already from more than two of the Plusnet staff on the forum, also perhaps unfair criticism from another. I did actually comment on your last thread that it looked as though your problem had been misunderstood.
It seems that when you changed the wireless channel on the modem/router your ethernet speed improved suggesting a faulty modem/router. It seems as though you reproduced this situation on more than one occasion.
What I'm not clear about is whether Plusnet have sent you a test modem/router or whether you have been sent a replacement and returned the faulty one.
So perhaps, instead of just slinging around the insults, you could calm down and answer a few questions, then between forum members who are willing to help, along with yet another offer of help from a member of Plusnet staff, we can solve your problem.
Has your speed problem been resolved?
Have you been sent a replacement router and returned the faulty one, or was it a test modem/router you were sent?

Re: bunch of scammers

two both questions yes the speed issues have got better and after a struggle plus net replaced the router after being told by plus net so called experts that the router was not at fault , the thing that has made me lose faith in p/n is the fact that they were proved wrong but did i get any form sorry or even any hint that the people who told me that what i was reporting about the router could not happen , it show a lack of respect and arrogance on plus nets part which not the fault of car but of the management , the two so called pn staff who commented on this forum are classic examples of this narrow minded thinking, i worked in a fault team for network rail and taught always toy expect the unexpectable , my dad god rest he's sole used to call these people college educated idiots very clever people but lack one thing common sense , i just wish plus net would listen when a customer has sorted out the problem for them , adam walker told me that i could not be the router if so why have i fad a far better connection with this new router, and why do pn chose to sell customers such a poorly reviewed router, by issuing this router as free item the customer is led to believe it is approved by plus net , but when you have problem with the router pn try washing there hands by saying you do not have to use it but will they then let you return the router and go on a rolling contract i think not

Re: bunch of scammers

Well I'm glad your speed issue is now OK. Yes, unfortunately you can be unlucky at the outset and get a ticket agent that is so script led they aren't listening and this can lead to additional misinterpretations of a situation. On the face of it, you are owed an apology, but I would also add that most of the staff that are here on the forum do their best to try and resolve any problems even though this isn't supposedly an official support channel.
