loss of earnings

Hi Am new to this forum so please forgive me if i am repeating a subject.
We signed up for plusnet a few weeks ago as our BT contract expired and with the current economic conditions we were looking for something a bit cheaper but good reputation. We had to wait a a while for an engineer appointment and were told friday 5th oct I waited all day lost a days wages and guess what no engineer!
Contacted plusnet who seem to have an oh thats open reaches fault not ours glib reply.
It seems they dont know when openreach are coming and dont really care either despite the fact I explained that my husband is self employed and needs email to send estimates bills etc and trust me life is hard enough out there without this happening.
I dont really understand how in this day and age plusnet can afford to be so laid back about customer service.
So as I sit here typing plusnet have taken my money sent me a router and yet have no idea when I will get internet.
Another case of customers being an inconvenience to a company. Embarrassed

Thanks for letting me rant!

Re: loss of earnings

Out of interest, had you signed up for a domestic or business service, that's clearly relevant?
