I will be taking half the day off, from my office to attend the engineer's visit and I hope something like this will not happen. PLEASE call in advance if the engineer cannot make it or is just at the exchange! Thank you

From our point of view the issues on the thread that you have highlighted there seemed to be more due to communication problems more than anything else.
I have just double checked your order and the install is definitely due for a morning visit on the 27th.

have to add that I am really happy with the feedback from plusnet after my post here in this forum, I have got 2 phone calls, one email and one text to confirm the engineer's visit. pretty impressive for me. keep it up

just a quick update
everything went fine with the activation of my phone line, the engineer from openreach BT came just after 13:30 and I currently have a working line. So, I am counting 5 working days till internet comes Smiley
But when I visit my account in the member section I get:
Home Phone Control Panel not available
This page is only available to Home Phone customers.
If you've ordered Home Phone, you'll be able to use this page when your line has activated, we'll email you when this happens.

how long does it take things to be updated in the member section?

One week gone by and no update in the order tracker nor any feedback via email. Still no router dispatched and getting worried that it might take more than "5-7 working days". Any feedback on the progress of broadband appreciated...
edit: just checked the order tracker, router is on its way!
