Re: options beyond 60Gb per month?

Requests are being done as instant account changes, meaning that you'll get the new usage straight away.  You need to have requested it from the link though.  (hint hint)

Hi tomxlisa,
as Kelly said, we're changing the account as we action the ticket so your usage would be available straight away. Just raise a ticket here and we can get it done for you.

Re: options beyond 60Gb per month?

I just received the standard email
You're approaching your product's broadband peak-time usage allowance of 120GB for this month. We've sent you this email to help you manage your usage, and ensure you don't face unexpected charges.
I returned to Plus net at the start of the Year the fiber install was fantastic we have fast broadband but 120GB means we are unable to use it! Please can you advise when this cap is going to be lifted for Fiber customers?
We now have managed broadband as plusnet wish
We are unable to use iplayer or any steaming.
Why?

Re: options beyond 60Gb per month?

I raised a ticket for the increased usage a few days ago, but have not had a reply yet (ticket #57859562)
Is there anyone at plusnet that can give this ticket a nudge? 🙂
Cheers,
Andrew.

Any tickets about this will be picked up early next week, we'd prefer this to be done via ticket rather than calling in.

Hi Chris, any update on this? (not that I want to look impatient or anything  :D)

Re: options beyond 60Gb per month?

Hi Andrew,
I've just scheduled this for your next billing date. Unfortunately we can't perform instant account changes at the moment as it's creating spurious billing, which of course we don't want to happen.

Re: options beyond 60Gb per month?

Thanks Chris, that's great.  I'll let the wife know not to go mad with Netflix until next month (as we're down to our last 3GB of usage!)

Re: options beyond 60Gb per month?

I'm on a 6 month promotional rate - will I lose this completely if I sign up to the "extra usage" or can I just pay £4.50 more than I'm paying at the moment ("Plusnet Extra tariff") until the promotional rate is over?

Re: options beyond 60Gb per month?

Hi there,
You should keep the discounts at the same value as they are, they'll just be applied against the new subscription cost. Please let us know if you notice any issues with this though.
