I just got this message when I logged in:
"McAfee Security, for £2 a month, has now been added to your account. Go to downloads page to download the software."
I signed up last week and I don't ever recall agreeing to pay for this

Which package are you on - If you are on Extra then this silly message just tells you that it is available and although it is £2 per month cost it s free on Extra

Thanks Jim. Yes, I'm on Extra. Just a misleading message then...
I wish ISPs wouldn't try and bundle this junk. I paid for broadband and phone and I don't want to be hassled about other products, free or not.

Some people do though.
Appreciate it's not for everyone as a number of people have their own favourites, but a large number of people do you to their ISP for AV security.

same here i think Mcafee is pOOOOOOOOh even the free AVG is tons better

I'm on Extra, but when I try to view the McAfee stuff it tells me I don't have the product on my account. Do I need to do something to get it added?

We use McAfee across our corporate network and never had any issues with it

I have just added McAfee to my package and it is great. It is the first antivirus we have had on the home network that does not slow them down. Ok the others were freebies, AVG and Avast but this is terrific. I can check if my daughter has got her updates on. ( I am not nosey, she is autistic and does not really understand the need). Thanks Plusnet for this brilliant program. I know it is not for everyone but I just wanted to say for us with 3 computers at home it is perfect.
