I don't believe that mine is due to change - 84.92.0.0/16 isn't in the published range?

If you've not received the email notification (also viewable on account tickets) by now then your IP address won't be changing.
In that range there are some that are changing as we're in it and are scheduled to be changed over next month.
Ah, ok then Jim. That's cleared things up. So it's NOT linked to the static IP change, either scheduled or already happened.
That's RPM to you!!

Re: rDNS changed back to default

one of my netblock has changed to the default, the router, broadcast and one of the other usable addresses are currently unchanged.

Re: rDNS changed back to default

Mine has reverted back as well. Are we supposed to raise tickets individually?

Re: rDNS changed back to default

I raised a ticket a few hours ago but haven't heard anything back as yet.
maybe they're looking into the root cause and doing a mass rollback..

Re: rDNS changed back to default

I have also noticed today this has happened on my static IP. It should be set as 'wireroom.example.uk' but has been sent back to the default 'username.plus.com' without my knowledge.
Here's me wondering also if a mass script has been run to set every PTR record to the default to get rid of stale records. I must say, when I first got my static IP that it had an invalid PTR record for a former customer and it was a good thing I requested my own straight away on being allocated the IP. I can see here a scenario- PlusNet are trying to fix a long-standing problem but have sweeped up legitimate valid records along the way. Either way, please fix it PlusNet! EDIT: I've raised a ticket #98961463 regarding this.

EDIT 2: Sorry mods, I will refrain from mentioning my broadband username in the future.
EDIT 3: Domain changed to 'example.uk'.

Yep mine has reverted back as well. Will wait and see an official response on this thread before raising a ticket.

Many thanks to the OP for bringing it to our attention. I await Plusnet's response with interest.

Re: rDNS changed back to default

I've just checked and mine appears to have been reverted, I wonder if they have indeed done a bulk undo?
