sue plusnet for non-payment of cashback

Has anyone thought of suing Plusnet for non-payment of cashback.
Perhaps an action in the small claims court might be successful
Or perhaps individuals here could club together to take joint action!

Apologies for the situation that you're in.
My colleague has tried to call you, but couldn't get a response. We are currently chasing your account up with marketing and will keep you updated.

Re: sue plusnet for non-payment of cashback

Okay, just spoke to your agent, promises, promises on my promised cashback
same excuses  for the last month
when I mentioned small claims court in 7 days if not payed I was told plusnet fight all actions (whether  right or wrong presumably) so there you have it
lovely company plusnet, promise cashback, don't pay, but will fight court case, presumably it will cost a lot more than the £50 cashback they owe me
says it all really  Crazy

Re: sue plusnet for non-payment of cashback

Hi there,
I'm sorry for the delay with the cashback. Rest assured that we are working to get this out to you as soon as possible, but we do ask you to remain patient whilst we are sorting this for you.

Re: sue plusnet for non-payment of cashback

Like all things, patience has it's limit, I'll be all out of that commodity in 7 days, after all,  nearly two months waiting for cashback, think you have had all the patience any sane person or company could ask for.
simple really, just pay the £50 you owe,
would you be patient with me if I made you wait two months for your money,?  don't think so

Re: sue plusnet for non-payment of cashback

OP there are loads of complaints over cash back companies' failures to pay. That won't be comfort to you, but I do think PN will trying as hard as possible on your behalf; more than some.
Look at the stories on the web abouy such as the well known like Quidco and you'll read of "no traces" of valid applications.
To anyone else, I'd value any thing I wanted on its stand alone worth before purchase, and cashback as a bonus, nice if you get it.
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Re: sue plusnet for non-payment of cashback

threatened court action, on last day got email for cashback (26th march)
this is good for a laugh
got letter plus email saying cheque posted to me 27th march and I should receive it by 13th april
Grin
which postal service gives a 17 day window to get a letter to you?
I have had some BS aimed my way but plusnet really take the biscuit, delay, delay, delay
no cheque and court action will ensue 13th april, that is a PROMISE

Re: sue plusnet for non-payment of cashback

I think it's safe to say we've learnt a lot about cash back with the problems we've experienced.
I don't believe I've not looked into your particular issue, but I know my colleagues have been working hard to resolve the matter for you and other customers.
The process which we use isn't as straight forward as popping a cheque in the post. As you've been given this timescale, I see no reason why you'd have problems. However, I note that you replied to my ticket about the delivery of the cheque. This will be checked out for you.

See http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,138400.0.html
A number of us seem to care more about the ability of customers to communicate which Plusnet in the most effective way for the issue concerned than it seems Plusnet do themselves and have therefore included links in our signatures.
