the difference in estimated and current line speed ?

Estimated line speed: 2.5Mbps - the estimated speed from my local exchange on sign up day
Current line speed: 7.15Mbps - 14 days later and steady as she goes
router on 24/7 since day 1 to up till now
value speed according to online  general speed checker s = 3MB (not bad) so dont worry
router on 24/7 since day 1 to up till now
can a router record and save  these speed settings (ie is a router reboot needed )
As  I'm thinking if I reboot it  , if its intelligent then  it may catch up nearer to my  line speed as it appears today
saying all that the constant  3 MB /sec  that I get is fine

That's ok. Just making sure your PN profile matched your BT one.
Looks like you could benefit from having interleaving turned off......if it's currently on.

Re: the difference in estimated and current line speed ?

I'm happy with  3MB per second  , and whats more its really steady...
I did think the same as you and to turn off any error correction
but earlier I thought I'll leave it on ... for now ... Its so stable

thanks strat and tc
