Had to replace landline phone. Now find with the thing plugged in, internet light on my 2011 router box won't come on. Have to disconnect phone and re-establish internet session. Do I have options? (and would be interested in what is going on) Thanks.

I think you've nailed it in a way. I have 2 landline phones. I've put a newer filter which was with an older phone (20 years) with the new phone, and used the former filter for the older phone. It works!
