Fair enough, I wasn't asking that you change the code, it's just that you've not said what programs are you using to see if there's any help we can offer there, so I thought you might have wrote them yourself.
I am using a program called Portsdown which is an Amatuer Digital TV program which will send a signal to a transmitter for send out off the air. It will also receive a signal and stream it to a monitoring device. Although I have a 7" screen on the Pi the program cannot display the image, hence the need to stream it.
