Hi
I am trying to connect my HP Deskjet to my WiFi using the WPS button on my router but with no success
I have moved the printer next to router but still unable to connect
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Re: Router WPS

@tigersb A bit more information would be helpful. How far into the connection process do you get? Are you following the printer set-up instructions?

Re: Router WPS

Yes I have reset my printer to setup mode but I am now led to believe that I should go thru the hp app to complete set up

Re: Router WPS

Use of 'an app' to achieve wireless connectivity should not be necessary - that's what WPS is for. Exactly which model is it, so I can look at the user manual?

Re: Router WPS

There is the HP tool that helps with connections. But the following might help, might not. If it is like one of my HP wireless printers, if you scroll through the settings it should tell you what IP address it is. I just entered that into the router, job done.

Ever helpful. Grin Sure, I’d love to help you out. Now which way did you come in?
