Safeguard and Google Safesearch

Since enabling Safeguard, google safesearch filtering has been enabled and i cannot switch it off.

I have full admin control on the PC in use, and have had Plusnet FFTP for 12 months before enabling safeguard for the specific purpose of blocking a sites categorised as porn and a handful of specific domains.

Is there a way to enable safeguard without giving control of google safesearch to plusnet?

You could try OpenDNS instead of Plusnet Safeguard.

OpenDNS is quite "granular" in blocking categories.
