World wide IT system failure, affecting just about every facet of life. 

Trains, Planes and Hospital & Doctors surgeries seriously disrupted service

Has your computer "crashed"?  Have you had a "blue screen of death"

People having to PAY CASH in shops and other retail outlets  .

( I almost filled up my tank this morning on the way out...    glad I didn`t.... as I rarely carry "that much" cash ! ! ! .  - Probably end up working in the carwash for the next couple of days !)

Apparently only WIndows can do this !..  

Linux and MAC have not been affected.

Actually, @shutter , it appears from what I  read elsewhere, this is a third-party 'threat mitigation' company that MS are heavily involved with, who put out a corrupt/wrong update to their systems.

@Champnet  Dunno ! Just glad I dumped windows when 7 stopped being supported and use Linux Mint and run Windows type software with WINE.

Everything is working fine for me. I would assume that this problem only affects those using cloud based services.

The questions may be answered... but not necessarily fully OR truthfully....

AND... .. could those businesses, Health Providers etc.. SUE MICROSOFT  for damages.... loss of business, etc etc etc.. in the same way that VW ( and others) were sued?

@Mr_Paul  Thanks, but thoses figures seem to be slighty bias towards Linux, an OS I've always associated with anti microsoft users and hobbyists......
