We have FREEVIEW - free to air t.v via an aerial on the chimney.
Transmitter is Rowridge, Isle of Wight.
During the past 5 years or more, we have had three t.v`s running off the same aerial leadin, all getting the same signal from Rowridge.
one of the channels, ( channel 46 ) is only available on one t.v.
This is the "main" lounge t.v. .....
a 2nd t.v on a splitter from the main aerial lead where it enters the house, does not get channel 46.Nor does the t.v. in the bedroom upstairs..
About 4 weeks ago. the lounge t.v. gave up and we bought a new JVC ROKU T.V. after setting up... it receives channel 46 ( along with all the other channels available on Freeview for our area. )
Other t.v.` do not .. so.. in effect...although we have a more modern, and up to date t.v it still receives the same channels as the old one.
Retuning the other t.v`s does not produce channel 46 on their program guides.
Can anyone explain why this should be...not that they don`t tune ch 46, but why three t.v.`s on the same aerial, and leadin, do not all produce the same channels.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

If you put your address in to this checker - https://www.freeview.co.uk/freeview-channel-checker
Is the signal strength for channel #46 shown as any lower than the other channels you can receive ?

@rhohne Never bothered checking the HD channels... so will have a look at them tomorrow, and see if the other t.v.`s DO get those channels 101, 102 etc

The HD channels multiplex will only be available on TVs equipped with an HD tuner, ie. DVB-T2.

This is the list of mux channels and TV allocations for https://ukfree.tv/transmitters/tv/Rowridge
I've just done a rescan, all the channels for Rowbridge are added as per the above list.
I would say if the TV is not HD then you won't receive Channel 46
Dan.

@rhohne Thanks for your input.
Have checked out the HD channels on other tv`s and they do not appear... so your suggestion seems to have solved the problem.
Case, and thread, CLOSED !
