Don't the satellites connect wirelessly with the router? If so, don't the same arguments apply? I must confess that I've never looked closer than the price tag of these set ups.

I shall await your post with interest. If the separate mesh network is wireless then shouldn't this topic with respect to satellite location be applicablr to that?

One thing to note is that they don't use the wifi included with the router, you switch that off.
The 'master' device is connected via ethernet to the router and that becomes your wireless network.

There are few general rules with wifi - sometimes its just a case of trial and error for a particular situation.
Might be worth buying something of Amazon or other web site and returning it for a refund if it doesn't work out.
You would have to pay the return postage costs, though.

As far as I am aware no-one responding to this topic has a problem needing an extender. As I understand it @Leapy was simply asking three pages back if they worked.

I use Devolo 1200+ units and personally not had too much of a problem with them.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
