i don't see similar entries as I have PXE boot options disabled in UEFI.

I dare say you could do the same but if everything is working as you expect I suppose there is no real need.....

@TheRoadCrew  Yeah... all seems to be working nicely now !... just that I had never seen the message(s) before, and did not know what they meant... still get the "checking media presence" (which is new to me ) but easy to understand.

Good news and I'm happy to be proved wrong and an OS reinstall fixed it. 😎
