Hi,

How do I remove my username from the reverse DNS record in my static IP?

The option is no longer available anywhere on the website.

You post here and one of the staff will spot it and raise a ticket to which you can reply.

That's not a great process for a potential security issue, Plusnet is exposing usernames in to the public.

But thanks for the answer. Guess I'll wait until someone picks this up.

Both you and plusnet have already exposed your username on this forum lol. It doesn't give away your real name, address, post code or anything else..

Not an ideal system as you put it but they'll get it sorted for you eventually. Unfortunately PN aren't really a hosting / domain ISP so they've never really put much effort into that sort of control panel.
